JAPAN
tadpat22, 11:54h
Hi guys!
Defenately, 2 weeks Japan are NOT enough!
Us at the imperial palace.
We had a great time here and met wonderful people. Thanks to our hosts: Agha, Michiru, Toshihiro and Kyota.
With each of them we had a great time, laughing, chatting, eating and some party.
Agha was a great help with bus booking. So we got the lowest fare!!! Great. Also the billiard party was great fun. (Tokyo)
With Michiru and her friends we experienced a japanese hotpot party. Yummi. Yabei :-) she also took us to a nice untouristic area and showed us the rituals in temples. (Tokyo)
For example washing before entering a temple.
Or washing the statue. Makes your body stronger where you wash/clean it.
Toshihiro gave us some really good recommendations of his favourite temples. I felt in love with one of it.
This is my favourite temple called Kamigamo Jinja-mae.
He also cooked the Miso soup for breakfast, which was super delicious! (Kyoto)
And Kyota was great for helping us. First because he accepted a really late couch request and second with the cheapest train to the airport. Wow his bed wad super comfy!!! (Osaka)
Thanks again to each of you and you're all warmly welcome in Germany.
From Japan we only saw the cities. There was no time to go to the countryside. But the cities are cool. Very clean although you hardly find bins!!! :-)
The people always take care to not be rude to each other. Always very polite. I like :-)
Mangas, Animes and games makes the japanese heart jumping. Really interesting to see. Also all the technologie around and behind it.
A weird thing is that a lot people wearing these hygienic mouth masks you have in a hospital. We didn't really got used to it. For us it always had the feeling that they are ill. We asked our hosts why so many people doing it.
1. Want to protect themselfs to not get infected
2. Want to hide the face
3. Because they are allergic against a plant.
We still didn't found out :-)
We enjoyed our stay in Japan and I guess we might come back on a certain day!!!
Last picture is me and Michiru in her traditional Kimono. <3 thanks for let me try it.
All the best to our new friends.
Big kisses for all family and friends.
Cheers,
Tadpat

Pictures of Philippines
tadpat22, 05:33h
As I promised, here are some pictures from beautiful philippines!
Beautiful sunset over Donsol!
Kids on the beach
Way to the market in beautiful Carmen, where we have been the only tourists!
Also in Carmen, the beautiful looking chocolate hills
Miss Carmen election. Where is Patrick?
Still in Carmen to celebrate the Fiesta with some locals.
The typical transportation in Philippines: TRICYLES
And JEEPNEYS
Stunning beach in El Nido
Our last night, we found a super cute and cuddling puppy in Puerta Princesa. I directly fall in love <3
Same puppy giving Patrick some kisses.
And when the brother arrived, both were sleeping on me!!! Yaaaaay
That's all for now.
Japan pictures will follow soon!!!

PHILIPPINES
tadpat22, 11:56h
Hi everyone,
After some weeks in the Philippines we have again Internet. I liked the time without internrt all the time but also you can't research what is happening...
From the beginning:
Manila is quite expensive in terms of accomondation. But we stayed there for a couple of nights. Also because the bussystem is quite confusing. There is not one big bus terminal but thousands of small ones, from every company.... and you need to book the ticket in advance so you need to go there only to buy the ticket. We went from Manila to Legazpi and from there to Donsol.
Donsol was super cool. We had a nice room and a great local eatery. Josie was bringing us salads and desserts for free. And when we left she gave us a whaleshark key chain as a present. Yeah whalesharks!!! We were snorkeling with one of this beautiful animal!
The first one or two hours there was no whaleshark at all. But then the boat drive went with full speed towards the other boats. When we arrived no whaleshark again. So all the boats (maybe 9) were searching the whaleshark and then people from a boat jumped in the water. Again full speed and we saw the shadow. So we prepared and "lined up" because it's only one boat allowed to swim with the whaleshark. And then suddenly our guide said jump it's over there. But we were too slow. I was the only one and I only saw the tail!
So we jumped in two more times and both times it became even better. In the end the whaleshark was swimming towards us so we could see it from the mouth to the tail. And the best is the canadian couple which was with us on the boat took a video! Amazing!
From Donsol we went to Cebu and Bohol. There we saw the Chocolate Hills and the Miss Carmen election. We went from one Fiesta to the next :-) Carmen was cool because we were the only tourists in town and for the Fiesta everybody knew us and invited us to eat and drink with them! :-)
Ah yeah and Pope Francis was in Philippines. We didn't see him (he was onlyinManila and Leyte) but it was a big deal for the Philippinos, because they are very religous. It was the topic number 1 for almost 1 week. :-)
After Carmen we went back to Cebu Island (again a Fiesta, the biggest of the whole Island) and to Moalboal where we were snorkeling with sardines.
Now we are in El Nido on Palawan. Amazing beaches but quite touristy so we go back to Puerto Princesa where our flight goes back to Manila and wonder o wonder back to Hongkong for the very last time for now because we booked our flights to Mexico. Before we go 2 weeks to Japan and 9 days to South Korea!
The life is beautiful! :-)
All the best from the Paradise, where the sun is shining and the people always smile! (But the food is not always good. They eat the fat of the animals. And meat is everywhere!!! Only chance is fish and seafood. That is incredible good!)
Cheers,
Tadpat
Yeah pictures will follow soon. The ones with dropbox send a mail if you wanna see the whaleshark video!!!!!
