NEPAL
The first stop in Nepal was a quiet little hill town. There was almost no tourism and it was great to relax! Tansen was holiday after India :-)

We also did the Langtang trek in the Himalayan Mountains. Langtang Lirung is the highest mountain we have seen so far (7246 meters high)!!! The trekking was one of the best things we did untill now. Pure nature. Hard to find and hard to describe the natural beauty!!! Also the pictures can't tell you the whole story :-)

We had been lucky to see the peak of LangtangLurang

The Busses in Nepal are a kind of dangerous. Especially when the driver is driving like hell. Imagine driving mountains up and down with an old bus with 80 km per hour!!!
Also the nepalese people are smaller than we are! For sure they have busses which fits to their size!!! You sometimes need strong knees!!! :-)

Was one of the horrible Busrides!

The traditional food in Nepal are Momos (kind of a spring roll, but usually not fried), Chowminh (fried eggnoodles, very oily again) and Daal Baht (similar to indian thali, you get different dishes and as much as you can eat)! You will also find good pasta which can be a pleasant alternative :-)

INDIA
India is really special! When we look back we often only starts laughing because there were happen so many strange and unreal things.
India is a hughe country, it's hard to resume it. I think you have everything there, good and bad. Our best experiences had been the cricket matches (and that we had met their captain), the amazing colours (especially the sarees of the women, during holi festival and the painted elefants) and the people you meet on the journey (those who whant to take a picture of you :-))!!!

We and the captain of the Kolkata Cricket Team

The elefant got painted for a wedding

While he took a picture o us, patrick did a great shot

When we started in germany we looked foreward to the indian food, because we loved to go to the german indian restaurants!
In India it is really easy to find good vegetarian meals! Our favourit is the "daal fry"! Because it is not that oily than the rest!!! Indians use A LOT of oil!!!
But the funny thing is: the best indian dishes (especially the naan) we had in kathmando!!!! :-)

For those who like to read: "the white tiger" from Aravind Adigas! I read the book in less than one week and it is really true :-)
